I'm on an Ipad.

 

1) Challenges get the checkmark when I FAIL, not succeed.  Yep, I got all the challenges done by failing.

 

2) Very minor – one of the challenges near the end shows a crusader but plays as a mr. smith

 

3) MAJOR — the minimap is nearly useless as the game progresses because it slowly moves off screen.  By the time i'm in Hell, I can't even see the minimap.

 

4) The locker is broken.  i sometimes get invisible items, or an item thinks it's in a different slot than it actually is… doing the wrong thing with the locker causes a crash.  fortunately, i was at the pope shield auto-locker, so i could just keep using the locker/crashing till i managed to empty it which cleared the issue. ugh.

 

4) lots and lots of popups (especially at stores) go off the screen and are unreadable.

 

5) sometimes button/touch placement feels off.  like, i'll press an item in a store, but instead, i'll leave the store, etc. 

 

6) I will SWEAR that something is off with random generators.  like, let's take the early levels — most games, bandits don't drop anything.  but then some games, every bandit on a level drops gold.   or nearly every chest has, say, a shield.   i see this with even rare items… it's like, oh, this is a game where i'm going to get lots of food drops, or sword drops, or whatever. 

 

7) selection screen says 'human wizard'…. not crusader.  fairy crusader.

 

8) When I die, it doesn't let me scroll through the list of killed monsters.  i can see that it's supposed to scroll, but it only moves a few pixels up and down, and i can only see the tops of the next row of monsters

 

i've only crashed a couple times (not counting item locker) so that's good, at least.  but the game still feels ultra-buggy, and it really mars an otherwise fun roguelike.

I got a similar bug as the 1st one mentioned above, except that it's the other way round - I cannot complete the Challenge Mode by winning!! The check marks DON'T show up after I completed the challenge and I can't get past Challenge No. 5 - which means I'll NEVER get that extra energy potion at the start of each game !!

 

Can you please fix it?

There are a few more I could add to that list:

 

I'm playing the latest version on iPad 3.

In hell when I was in a very large room with a lot of enemies, some of the enemy sprites began turning invisible, particularly those flying women with the red hair.

 

Also, Gamecentre is continually showing as 'disabled', despite that I'm definitely logged in.

Heya !

Great game, but I registered in order to submit a few more bugs / Suggestions / Remarks

 

I'm using the v3.2 version of the game, on iPhone (Non-jailbreak, latest iOS)

 

1] When pickpocketing blue "soldiers", on the second level, you can get ring of strength and ring of resistance.

These grant +1% STR or +1% Resistance rather than +1 STR / +1 resistance.

My current 19.7 STR does not improve from wearing the ring, neither does my resistance, so I guess they are not working as intended.

BUT.

Upon saving/reloading, the ring was replaced by a working +3 STR ring. I was able to reproduce the bug with a ring of accuracy and the ring of resistance.

 

2] The "Smoke Bomb" skill is said to cost 8 energy, but doesn't cost any energy when casted.

 

3] Is it normal, that if I'm using a dagger against monsters from level 3 onwards,  I can't attack ? (I click on the ennemy, but there's no animation from my character, and my ennemies just attack me)

 

4] It seems there is some kind of bug with the dinoman "charge" ability. When I got criticals with the ability, I was dealing 800-1200+ damage (while dealing 20-30 damage when not critting)

 

5] Satan, as stated earlier is completely bugged at the moment 🙁 I've fought him thrice, and everytime, after fighting him for a while, I had to quit the app, kill the process, relaunch the game and THEN i'd win the game upon loading.

 

6] I also reproduced the bug with challenges (had to lost challenges to have them be marked as "wins")

 

7] It seems like the constructs created with the Dungeoneer skills can not be killed (they regenerate every lost HP when beeing hit, kinda like Satan : Connected bug, maybe ?)

 

8] A small suggestion regarding the Fairy and the crusader : The way you did set up skills for the Scoundrel & Dinoman are great (1/2 points max to spend in each skill). I'd suggest you slightly edit the "3 levelled" skills of these two character to have a max skill level of 2, rather than 3.

 

9] Quite a few labels / graphics seem slightly off (not centered or too long) Not sure if it's easy for you to correct them but I'll list those that I've found just in case :

- Looking at a weapon statistics, there's "Critical Hit Description" written. I guess the initial idea was to display the %crit chance of said weapon (Same for the backstab indicator, I guess)  ? 

- In the "Prefs" section, the buttons are slightly off : "Main Menu" is a label that's slightly too long, i'd suggest something like "Quit". "Credits button" should be labelled "Credits"

- The "map" button label is not centered.

- There's no way to close the menu if I'm looking at the "Prefs" tab beside moving to another tab and clicking on OK. Maybe clicking on the "Menu" button again could close the menu if it's open ?

- You should either allow the map to be opened & browsed at will (Freezing the game while the user is looking at the map), or try to have the map to be centered on the white dot that represents the character.

 

10] Regarding energy gain : Any reason for energy to be gained in bug chunks every 3 turns, rather than in small amount every turn ? (Same amount, but seems more logical to me)

 

Once again : I love your game, I'm buying each IAP one after another everytime I defeat the big bad Satan 😀

 

All it is lacking at the moment is some polish (overlapping buttons, some labels that are slightly off) and the few critical bugs that prevent the game from beeing played properly.

Unfortunately, the "polish" part is what separates a great game (such as yours) from a perfect game for me 😀

Keep up the good work anyway, I hope you'll have some time to release a patch for the most important bugs that have been reported 🙂

I'm sure I'll test 100 Trials once I'm done with that game 😀 Cheers Cool

And another one...when using the Necromeister in combo mode, it didn't matter how many blue potions I picked up, they'd never appear in my inventory.

Also the first pane of text which appears when starting combo mode has half the text missing.

 

Just to re-iterate, I'm playing this on an iPad3.

Forgot to say, I'm playing on a french iPhone, not sure if the missing %crit, crit multiplicator & other label/descriptions issues are due to this (translation/port error ?)

 

Regarding what I said earlier about regenerating in chunks, nevermind – that was only on the "easy" setting, in "normal" setting, the regen seems perfectly normal

 

Edit.: Also, is it normal for wands to be restricted to wizards only ? (I've read quite a bit of wand usage with the crusader, and I'm quite sure it'd be a good item to use with other classes)

 

Edit2.: The Slayer of Satan badge (achievement) seems also to no longer be working properly.

Additional small bug : 

In the radial menu (that opens up when you click on your character), the Dungeoneer "cloaking device" skill shows a cost of "10", whereas the skills actually costs 8 (the skill description is OK)

 

Regarding the necromeister, is it normal that it doesn't even have a basic melee and/or ranged attack ? (Even one that's very weak)

It makes playing him in normal mode during the few first levels a real chore.

I checked & changed the language of my phone from french to english, and many "display errors" (buttons, labels on items & so on) were corrected.

 

That's a bug that's a bit sad, because due to all missing/incorrect text / labels, this makes non-english speaking buyers to feel like your game isn't that polished and/or severly bugged.

 

I'd advise you try to apply the english setting to all other language settings if you can in your next update (I believe you've got another update, with additional languages scheduled ?)

I'm really pressed for time on a truly enormous update to the game, but it will be a while before I meet that deadline. I will try and squeeze an update in to fix these, or at least the worst of these, as soon as I can.
